Janet LaKeya's Story
I have taught school for 30 years and am currejntly retired. (collegework done at Tyler Junior College, A.A. in Nursing; under graduate , at University of Texas B.S. in Education and Science, having 2 teaching certifications in General Elementary grades 1-8 and in Life and Earth Science, Mddle School); Master of Science in Instruction and Curriculum.
Jerry Embry and I were married and had one son, Jerry BeNet' Embry, he has 3 daughters, one of which I have been close to since biorth, Jaza. (The other cdhildren were conceived while he was in the army and I have not had the privilege of being close to therm). After my divorce, I married Henry Seastrunk (Butch). We were married 23 years and had two sons together, Henri, LeVar, who has two children by Kelly Williams. Beck-Seastrunk. Their names are Kamry RaMon' , Amori BeNet', who are in early elementary school and Kaden Kaily who is still at home. My second son by Butch is Keenan RaMon Seastrunk, who blessed me with two granddaughters, Kia Lorraine, who is 12, and Kenya Simon', who is in early elementary school. My mother, Mrs. Myrtle Louise Jones McCain, passed in 2006. I was devestated! I married David Lynn Davis in 1991, no children, and we were divorced in 2011) having no children together. Recently, my mom's house, my homestead, where I was living was burned down by an arsonist (who is currently in jail). So after the losses, I have squared my shoulders, taken on the whole armor of the Lord and am excitedly on the comeback trail. I still like to have FUN. I'm just gettin accustomed to computers. As, I do, I will add more inrformation and photos. May God continue to shower his abundant blessings on us all.
